909 started in 2011 with a simple decision: go back to the core. As electronic music culture grew louder and more excessive, we chose another direction.Named after the Roland TR-909 drum machine, the festival is built on precision, repetition and restraint.

The festival takes place in the Amsterdamse Bos. An open field surrounded by trees. Where industrial rhythm meets organic space. The scale is intentional. The distance between artist and audience remains short. Attention stays where it belongs.
